%1 stands for the value of MeasureName (measureTime2 in this case). %1 stands for the value of MeasureName1 (measureTime1 in this case). That is, they do not affect the code and are here for demonstration purposes only. A global time clock It works on a analogue round clocks surface with a ring-shaped hand labelled with name of major cities in each timezone. You can incorporate the two different clocks in the same skin, it doesn't need to be a second one (except if there is a reason to, for example if you want to position it somewhere else).Ĭode: Select all Lines starting (semicolons) are commented out.

Its StringAlign needs to change to Right. The same needs to be done for styleRightTitle. Update WorldClock has been updated: New variants with new features Easier clock configuration See readme.txt for details. This assumption is incorrect on the DST transition days. If we change the StringAlign setting to Left, the string "England" is shown correctly. This is because a assumes that the time zone offset for a given day is the same all day long. So when you use this meterstyle to a meter with a X=10 value, your text is cropped of the Rainmeter window, because it starts at X=10 and goes to the right. Your styleLeftTitle is using StringAlign=Right, which aligns the text in the opposite way of what your style is named. They aren't required if you want to display static text. MeasureNames are used when you want to display the value of a measure in a meter. The other problem is that you have specified a MeasureName that doesn't exist (Location) in your Location meter. It is nice and handy to give it a name that represents its content. So, you can change that to or or whatever else you want. I wanted to create a second clock so, I copied the file with the clock to a new folder and wanted to get that up and running. i downloaded a skin and successfully loaded it. ini standard demands that each section must have a unique name. Hi Everyone I am new to rainmeter, and let me say i am having alot fun. Firstly, you have two sections with the same name. below the Y value of the previous meter (i.e it's the same as in meterLabelCPU). In this case, the Y postition of meterValueCPU is 0 pixels %1 stands for the value of MeasureName (measureTime in this case). contents of the section here during runtime. Using MeterStyle=styleTitle will basically "copy" the Meters using styleLeftText will be left-aligned. Refer to the Rainmeter manual for other format codes. For a 12-hour clock, change the Format option above to: %I:%M %p This measure returns the time in a 24-hour format (i.e. Variables declared here can be used later on between two # characters (e.g. This section contains general settings that can be used to change how Rainmeter is equal to Contains basic information of the skin.ĭescription=Displays the current date and time.

Right now the skin seems excessively large, which once it has a solid background, will cause some issue with where it can be placed on the screen, unless you turn off "Keep on screen" in settings. Then I would adjust some of the W and H values on the meters so the skin isn't any larger than it really needs to be. I personally would initially and temporarily set SolidColor=255,0,0,100 so I can see the background. So depending on your graphics hardware, and your graphics driver, you can possibly get "artifacts" left behind. Nothing in the skin, not the window background, and not the meters themselves, have anything that creates a solid rectangular area that is redrawn as the values change. (mtClockDay) (Real white, opposite gray) The default format for time is HH:MM:SS so I added a substitute to remove the : and it still works as a clock. Any time from 3-9 or 15-21 (3-9 again) should be hidden. That will force windows to entirely redraw the entire window on each update, rather than giving it the option of only redrawing the content of the window, which will vary over time. I cant get one clock to hide while its on the bottom half. This skin should really have an invisible but "solid" background on it.
